Sean Stephens
Vocals, Acoustic Guitar, Digeridoo, Djembe
Nobody plays acoustic guitar like Sean. His unique style of slapping and popping creates a yin-yang balance to his eclectic song writing. His charismatic vocal style and his over the top stage presence prove him to be completely captivating while on stage or in the recording studio.
Giles Collins
Drums, Percussion, Piano, Theremin, Guitar, Vocals
Giles’ presence is cool and casual amidst the frenzy that usually surrounds him. His meter is quartz-like. He attacks each song with a high grade delivery of style and dynamics. Giles is a veteran of the musical theatre scene having performed in over 30 live musicals as percussionist or Music Director.
Alex King
Guitar, Keyboards, Accordion, Melodium.
Alex’s unique sounds add character, warmth and texture to the mix of cross-culture music the band is producing. Lacquered with soul, “Teach’s” scrumptious soundscaping will take you from Bangladesh to New Rock City.
Christian Forbes
Bass, Vocals
Christian plays the bass like it’s a rhythm guitar. His style is full of chords, octaves and harmonies as well as heavy doses of rhythm. It’s a mix of punk, alt-pop and classic R&B that will mow you down.
Garry Lowe
Bass, Vocals
Garry brings the “boomph” to any song he tackles. He's a performer that gives his heart to all musical styles. A former Big Sugar member and a co-founder of reggae sensations Truths & Rights, Garry is always up and ready for dropping “da bottom”.
Darren Richards
Banjo, Mandolin, Guitar, Harmonica, Vocals
Darren adds an interesting sonic and visual dynamic to the band with his versatility as a multi-instrumentalist. Because of his deep love for all styles of music and sub-culture, Darren manages to consistently crank the hip-o-meter to ten.
friendlyness
Vocals
friendlyness brings a smile to any face in the crowd whenever this “dread-clad-people-lover” hits the mic. As a former member of “Punjabi By Nature” and a member of the heavy hitting reggae band “Truths and Rights” friendly adds a heap of talent and good vibes.
Sydney Collins
Vocals
Sydney is by far the band’s youngest member but clearly a leader in experience. As a constant feature performer in many Broadway-style musicals, Sydney has a remarkable ear for tone and an exceptional vocal ability.
Yoshito Yamano
Sitar
Yoshi has traveled the globe seeking out new music and culture. The inherent knowledge from his vast experiences lends well to the multi cultural blend that comprises The Chaos System.
The following have generously given their talents to this music. The recordings would not be the same without them.
